5243 - Encryption License

Encrypt laptops and PC’s by installing encryption software, installs FDR backup software, McAfee antivirus protection and performs planned maintenance on encrypted computers. Backup of data is not included in this rate and will be billed separately through other ADOA-ISD data backup rates.

ADOA-ISD Responsibilities

• Maintain license for the Encrypting, Antivirus and backup CLIENT software installed by ESS.
•  Perform maintenance every four months on all encrypted devices.
•  Troubleshoot any problems with Encrypted devices.
• Maintain a log of all encrypted devices by Agency, Name of user, serial number and date device was Encrypted.

CLIENT Responsibilities

• Manage their own data, including backup and recovery of information stored on he hard drive of any encrypted device managed by ESS
•  Contact the Service Desk at 602-364-4444 regarding incidents, service requests and provide an accurate description, including any error messages
•  Allow ESS appropriate access to managed equipment (physical and logical)
•  Pay all fees associated with the use of licenses.

JOINT Responsibilities

• Ensure Equipment is kept in compliance with all State rules pertaining to Acceptable use.
