Kiran currently manages the Application Development group for the Information Services Division. In addition to his primary duties, he manages diverse projects across agencies and works on a broad spectrum of activities. He has been in management role at ADOA since Feb 2008 and was formerly a manager with a Japanese firm, Takata Holdings Inc. His group consists of usability designers, business analysts, application developers and is responsible for various projects within the state. His team responsibilities include, but are not limited to, Custom Web Applications, Application Integration, Mobile Applications, Business Intelligence and Service Oriented Architecture.

Kiran has spent the past eight years providing management, consulting and leadership in design, user experience, product development and he is passionate about design driven innovation. Kiran majored in Industrial Engineering with specialization in Information Systems at Wayne State University and is a Microsoft Certified Professional in various technologies. When not at work, he loves to spend time with his family, play chess, surf the web and catch up on his sleep.
