This organization had a mission critical application using a now End of Life Foxpro technology. The Graphical User Interface (GUI) was not easy to use or intuitive. The users were unable to use mouse clicks throughout the application because it was developed before the use of a mouse was universal. Furthermore, the application did not allow for the department to easily export the information to the www.azppse.gov  website. This is a picture of the legacy application:

ISD Applications Development met with the client to gather business and workflow requirements. ISD created a web application with the same functionality and more, and because the application is now web-based users can access it while telecommuting.

We integrated an online directory to the www.azppse.gov  website.   This allowed the online directory to be updated in real time.  Now, when an employee makes a change to the web application, the change is immediately reflected in the website directory thus saving time and money for the PPSE board. The application was coded to run reports based on statistics, renewals and complaints with filters on date ranges and several other factors. ISD incorporated a search feature allowing employees to search for an institution based on ID or partial name which is a more intuitive application than the previous version.
