Forestry Fiscal Database

Until recently, the Arizona State Forestry Division was part of the Land Department.  When the Forestry Department separated from the Land Department, they needed an application that would import all of their fiscal data into one location.  Applications Development was able to import all the AFIS, HRIS and WildCAD data and wrap the data in a user-friendly interface.

This application tracks payments made against the fire fund in relation to Arizona fires.  It's important for the Forestry Department to know if they have overpaid a fire department.  The Forestry Department also tracks fire fighter hours against fires. 

The new application is Web Enabled.  This means that users log in using their YES credentials by visiting an internet accessible web browser.  The previous application was a Client-Server application meaning it was only available when they were sitting at their desks in their office.  This has expanded the ability for users to work from home or some other off-site location.
