Peggy began her IT career in Meriden, Connecticut at the International Silver Company as an order entry clerk. She rose rapidly through positions as Tape Librarian and Computer Operator before being recruited by the Hartford Group Insurance Company as a Programmer, and soon, as an IMS Data Base Analyst.
 
In 1997, Peggy came to work for the Arizona Department of Economic Security as a Programmer and, after several rapid promotions, an Adabas Data Base Analyst. Following a State Job Fair, Peggy's next stop was the Department of Transportation as a Technical Support Specialist responsible for their IMS database systems. While there, she acquired additional skills as a CICS systems administrator, and was soon invited to join the ADOA ISD team and take responsibility for the support, installation, and maintenance of their CICS and Datacom software, both critical systems used for the State’s financial services and by AHCCCS for their health care processes.
 
As a result of her demonstrated versatility and ability to successfully take on any type of challenge, in 2006 Peggy accepted the position of Manager of the ADOA Technical Support Team.

 

Peggy has balanced this remarkable career with another important one, as the mother of three.
