Barbara has more than 36 years of experience in public safety communications and public administration. She has worked for the Department of Administration for 16 years and since 1975 has worked primarily in the 9-1-1 field.

She currently serves as 1st Vice President of the National Emergency Number Association (NENA) and holds the Emergency Number Professional (ENP) Certification. Barbara is also a member of the National Association of State 9-1-1 Administrators (NASNA) and holds a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration.
